The Johnson-Braddy Foundation was officially founded in the Fall of 2022, but has been in the works since the Summer of 2018 at the inaugural Trey Johnson Football Camp. We are a Family owned & operated non-profit foundation that looks to create positive change and impact in underserved communities across the Tampa Bay Area.
The Johnson-Braddy family starts with our matriarch Gloria Braddy, who served as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. After retiring in Georgia she moved to Florida with her daughter & son-in-law, Ralph & Tracy Johnson. Ralph & Tracy were married in 1993 and raised three amazing kids (Christina, Chris, & Trey).
Ralph served in the Navy for 23 years before retiring and becoming a Pastor. Tracy served and is still serving as a Homemaker, Backbone, and Organizer for our family and family businesses. Christina is a Nurse Practitioner and has worked as a Travel Nurse and/or Home Health Nurse since 2013. Chris has been Insuring individuals, businesses, and families since 2019. Trey played professional football from 2018-2020 before retiring and becoming an entrepreneur/mentor in 2021.
As you can see, everyone in the family has a different “lane” they are in when it comes to their own personal professions, yet they all have to do with serving others. The Johnson-Braddy Foundation is where all of our different careers are able to merge together and provide maximum support, education, and service to those who need it most.
To provide a safe space for neglected and struggling people to come and learn how to be successful in not only sports but life as well. Our events will always have an environment that is built upon proper education, proper exposure, and proper mentality no matter the situation.
The Johnson-Braddy Foundation will work to solve generational and systemic issues that exist in underserved communities. The main issues we will focus on are: miseducation around a plethora of different topics, a survivors mentality, lack of exposure, & lack of resources.
